NPHS Improv is a club where students can join to learn and practice the art of improvisational acting; acting without a script. There are two groups that meet every Wednesday for one and a half hours for 8 weeks taught by Neil Leaheey and his assistants, Charlie Santos and Riley Cash. Riley graduated in 2013 and is one of the members of the first NPHS Improv Troupe. There is a beginner’s group for first year students called Improv 101, after completing that course; a student would have the opportunity to join Improv 202. Both groups put on shows in the NPHS auditorium throughout the year. Their most recent performance was their annual winter show in November of 2014.
